My very first plant. It was given to me by my mom when I moved away from home. It used to have a small pineapple on the top, but it fell off. Bob has lived with me in 3 different apartments now.

It has some very rough periods where it almost died… It has suffered from root rot and a bad infestation of fungus gnats. I managed to treat it and now it is back in full force :)

The above picture is shortly after Bob was it his worst. I had to trim almost all the leaves and most of the roots due to rot. You can see two shoots, one to either side. These I gave to my parents, where they are still alive.
